The Bachelor of Innovation (BI) program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a one-of-a-kind degree designed for creative thinkers and problem-solvers. Unlike traditional Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) programs, the BI integrates traditional academic disciplines like Business, Communication, Game Design, Computer Security, and Data Analytics with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
A standout feature of the BI program is its three-semester Innovation Team sequence, where students work in cross-functional teams to tackle real-world challenges for external clients. These hands-on consulting projects prepare students to bridge the gap between ideas and impact, equipping them with the skills and experience needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving, innovation-driven world. The program fosters an environment where creativity meets strategy, transforming students into leaders ready to shape the future.
